Welcome to SWaDU, an idea exchange designed to inspire, equip, and assist parents who want to creatively share God with their children.
What is SWaDU?
SWaDU originates from Deut. 6:7 (NIV). Parents are instructed to share God with their kids when they Sit at home, when they Walk along the road, when they lie Down, and when they get Up.
SWaDU is a simple acronym to help you remember to share God with your children in all of life’s experiences. Whether at home, in the car, before bed, or first thing in the morning, allow God to be a part of your daily conversation with your kids.
We have collected creative, encouraging, fresh, tried/tested ideas from parents just like you, for you to try with your kids. Check out some of these ideas, or share one of your own. It is really simple and takes as much or as little time as you want.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
— Deuteronomy 6:5-7 (NIV)
